Rvc

Okay, I have a question. I've been thinking of choosing RVC as my dorm despite the all-girlsyness of it mostly for the really nice looking rooms and the proximity to the campus. Does anyone know the policy on boys.... I know they're allowed to visit and that there's no curfew, but if a boy travelled to see me would he be allowed to stay over?

the policy is that RVC starting the 2009-2010 school year is going to be Coed. No lie.
As for policies, I have heard they allow people to stay over (afterall, you are paying for a room, so anyone you want should be allowed to come), but they have to leave a piece of ID at the front desk or something like that. They’re kinda jerks about getting in there…at least if I go in there to refill my laundry card (i live in dio which doesnt have a laundry card refill machine, so i have to go to RVC), the lady at the counter always freaks out and is like “gimme you id…”

what is dio like? I was also thinking about that but no one ever talks about it.

Who says RVC is going to be coed?! Do u have a source?

Not written source, but so-says my Floor Fellow (RA), as well as numerous others. The supposed reason why is that only a few people want to ever live in RVC, so most get placed there when they don’t want to. If they make it coed, more girls will want to live there (with the assumptions most girls dont want an all girls rez) because guys will start living there too. Oh, and if I recall, supposedly the tower is going to be all coed, the rest wont be (but the tower has the majority of rooms).

Dio’s awesome. Some of the rooms are really large…some of them are terribly small(by small I mean normal sized room at molson or one of the other BMHs). Problem is, you dont get to choose which one you get. The nice thing about dio is it is really close. It’s for sure one of the best places if you want to live in a Rez where you will be able to get work done.
