New Rule for # of SATs

I'm pretty sure most of you are aware of the new rule that basically states that you can take the SAT as many times as you want, without colleges looking at the scores that you don't want them to. I know some colleges might still ask for all scores, and I know this new rule only applies to the Class of 2010 forward.

What I don't know is when this rule will be applied. I heard somewhere that it starts March 2009, but my cousin's SAT tutor told him it is effective as of now (for the Class of 2010+, of course). Can anyone clear this up for me?

Thanks :)

As of March 2009, the student can choose to send any test score he took, even if it's before March 2009.

Cleared things up?

So, if I take more than three SATs between now and March 2009 it won't count against me right? And I can choose for colleges not to see my scores if I don't want them to?
