Ok, just to clarify, the new policy for 2010+ graduates means that we can take the SAT as many times as we want, and only have to submit the best SAT score right?? Or the best 2?? or does it differ between colleges. For example, could I take the SAT's 5 times, or until I get 2360+, and submit the best score to Harvard, Stanford, etc. ? Thanks!

Yes you can, just like the ACT.

But I think this is only valid starting the March 2009 date, so tests you take before that might permanently show on your SAT record. Corrections to this???

Sucks to be an 09'er....

Not really ^

Wouldnt this just make things much more competitive..?

Well..you do have the option of taking the SAT 5 times (March, May, June, Oct, Nov) w/o them knowing about it.

ok thanks! So basically I should take the SAT starting in March? I'll probably take it in March, October, and november if I really need to. good idea? or not

remember colleges can still ask you send all of you scores so beware.

taking them 4+ times won't magically improve your score.
It starts to level off after the 3rd test o_o
