Hey, I’ve been away for awhile, but now I’m back. Unfortunatly since I’ve been away so ling I couldn’t remember my password so I decided that now was a good time to change my SN. So from now on I’ll be known as BWMT09 instead of mtfan. I’ll be here to answer any questions if you have any.

BWMT09,
I am auditioning on Feb 18th and I was just wondering what kind of vibe BW is. From my experience of visiting different colleges, each one has its own characterisitics to them. I also posted in another thread that I know one of the BW MTer's, Mitch. I sat in on a class last year, who knows, I might have been watching you perfrom in the class. But just any bits and pieces of info for the audition day would help. Looking forward to seeing you, thanks!

I sent you a PM, but you have some new questions. The vibe of BW is that of a small college. Sometimes not even that becuase Berea is most definatly not a College Town. BW pulls most of its students from NE Ohio, I think its something about 90% is from in state. Basicly the only people from out of state are people in the conservatory. Last Sem, in my one actuall class outside of the conservatory, people asked me why I was at BW if I was from chicago. they just didnt understand the potential residing in the conservatory of music building. Also one misconseption about BW is that becuase your taking all mostly music classes it's easy, that's what all my friends said to me when they foud out my sechdule. It's actually quite difficult, with all the theory classes, lessons and other requirements. You'll find yourself almost living in the practice rooms. You didn't see me perform in the class cause I'm a freshman this year. The audition day is a long one, you're there from 9 till about 5. In that time you'll audition for vicky with you songs and monologue, your dance audition with janice and you'll watch a masterclass. on your audition date, Margaret Emory will be coming in, a new youk agent and the author of "ask an agent" so it should definatly be informative. Any more questions anyone?

thanks...that was a great help!..see you soon

ps...i never got the PM :(
