I haven’t read the entire thread, but is there a delete button anywhere? If not, can the web designers add one?

Oh and the mobile site is borderline unusable. At least give users the option of switching to the desktop version.

Thank you ML for at least communicating with us. If I were CC, I would be VERY disappointed with the SLOW progress the vendor is making on these issues. I can’t believe their contract didn’t include some timetable for problem resolutions.

Post numbers would really be appreciated.

And yes, I agree with others. In this day and age, many folks are using mobile devices (Smart phones or tablets). At this point, the applications for IPad and Android are still non-functional. Using the browser from a mobile device has its glitches.

I just wish for an update…what happened to Doug, moody and dbraud? They seem to have disappeared!

Once again, the pinned threads are at the top of my “latest posts” view. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

I don’t know whether this has been addressed (I’m just looking for a place to complain about it) but it is no longer possible to sort posts by number of replies or views or other categories. And I love the Sheltie, too. :slight_smile:

I’m getting logged off randomly, sometimes minutes after logging in. (On Chrome, on a laptop.) This is really new behavior since last week.

Yeah me too. But it’s not as annoying as not being able to bookmark a forum :wink:

@OHMomof2 that’s a super hot topic for me too!!! I hate having to have to search every time. CC is not as useful as it used to be. I read wayyy less forums than I did before. :-@ And that’s us talking about it and those with the power just …well…hopefully trying to do something?

Well look at that, I was just randomly logged out as mentioned by arabrab. This has not happened to me before. (IE on laptop)

It’s happening to me but if I refresh the page I don’t have to log in again. Annoying but not a huge issue.

Oh geez I got logged out too but it happened when I clicked on “my bookmarks” tab…I also once in a while today get these messages about service not available and Guru meditation or something. Happens only when I am on CC and it happened at work and home computer.

Everything today is so random. Some action is fine one time and not the next. A fix works and then doesn’t. I could understand if it were middle of the night on a Sunday; I’d assume some work was being done.

Not that anyone is listening anymore… but sometimes the links in the emails start with http: and sometimes with https:.

Which wouldn’t necessarily be a problem, except that my browser complains about certificate issues for the https: links, and it’s annoying.

@SnLMom @thumper1 I’m still here ladies! I’ve been working really hard to address all of the suggestions, concerns and issues. The time that I’m not working on the site, I’m playing nurse to my wife who just underwent ACL surgery. So anyway… I haven’t died nor have I forsaken y’all. :slight_smile:

@doughill - can you provide us with a list of what is going to get fixed/changed? It would ease the frustration a lot.

An update from one of you would be MOST appreciated. You cameras the frustrations and concerns in the Parents Cafe…thread is “Forum Issues”…started yesterday in the wake of a bunch of NEW glitches affecting everyone, or so it seems.

I think this site needs more than some guru meditation to get it fixed :slight_smile:

But this is ridiculous. We were told at the beginning that this change was “necessary” because the last one was held together by duct tape causing the occasional busy server message. Well, this doesn’t seem to be going much better!

Although it’s nice to know that you’re still here, to be honest, it doesn’t answer any of our questions. After this many weeks, it is looking more and more that the issues we have all had, are not going to be addressed. It shouldn’t take this long to fix the simple little things, none of which, as far as I can see, have changed since the beginning of this changeover. It certainly appears to have been a disaster. What a shame that such a wonderful resource for students and parents has been ruined for so many.
