I cannot see any summer-fall housing in my daughter’s portal. Its like it was before. Nothing has changed so far. Does it mean rejection?

We don’t know— some students who had housing were accepted, and some without it as well. Some students housing during ed2 were removed, but I would be very much surprised if that plays a role.

The only thing I would be on the look out for is 2023-2024 academic year housing that tends to be available a little before decisions, if not after.

Hi, Pranav. Let me try to explain this situation more. In fact, the website is redirecting you to another website with this url: connect.nyu.edu/portal/decision, which is accessible PREVIOUSLY several days before the release date. The url you encountered when first logged in is actually connect.nyu.edu/portal/undergraduate. See the difference?
More precisely, it just forced you to go into the decision website, while this website indeed only contains one button after you applied. So the previous website did not change at all. They just prevent you to log into it again and redirect you into a new website that already exists way before the decision date.

Everybody will have one button because nyu.edu/portal/decision is designed like that? And I think indeed some applicants will see summer 2023 in the housing portal.
One possiblity to explain this thing, the button changes for everybody, but some people may have their identification information changed when logging into housing portal. Should do an investigation to find it out.
