Are there any other indications others than the buttons and the housing portal?
Before that button disappeared, was it still no app in the housing portal? Did it change to no app or just stays so?
During ed1, students got in with summer app so I don’t believe it plays that big of a role-- I could be wrong though.
It changed about 2 days ago from summer application.
That could be a good sign. But it is not guaranteed.

Would it be good to check via student portals? How about logging into some student portals in different schools? Just tried this one. portal.cas.nyu.edu/advising-portal/login.html. Can anyone log into this portal if they applied to CAS?

I think this is a very specific portal only for the CAS school. Other school seems to use the Albert portal for course registrations.

iii, you need the University ID to log into the CAS portal. Do you have one?
Let me share “some indicators” with you. Can you login into Albert portal and get into NYU housing payments? Some applicants really care about if they will be able to deposit for the fall term this year. Just log into housing payment and check that deposit button.
Do you have fall term available when you try to deposit? The effect of the indicator is not guatanteed though.

Really? The url is like this: portal.cas.nyu.edu/advising-portal/login.html. Applicants should see a dashboard while logging in. But there will be a notification saying it was closed.
Yeah it states “Welcome to Teaching Awards Nomination Portal” with options to choose between student, faculty and tech.
After clicking on student, it requests for student info.
Anything could happen. But if something like this one changed before the release date, it may possibly mean something was adjusted for you.
The first time I checked this was yesterday so I don’t know if it was always there or if it changed.
