<p>njoy - I’m class of '08. About 30% of my graduating class is at CC now (respectable, private all-girls school). We had a tough admissions year.</p>
<p>i think its about half and half for me… some of my friends are at CC and some of my friends went straight to the universities, BUT my best friend is at UCLA lol.</p>
<p>its nutts to think that we’ll be close to/ if not already 20 by the time we transfer. idk i think im just being nostalgic : )</p>

<p>I plan to start my personal statements in the summer. I want to turn my Application in right when you can. Does that have any play on if you end up in the first batch of admissions releases?</p>

<p>What i mean is, you know how there are batches of information? Most UC’s (as far as I know), have a couple waves, or a few. Does it not matter when you submit your app?</p>

<p>SMC has more of a class choice than PCC and GCC over the summer though, so there are some pluses. Supposedly, there’s a “name recognition” from SMC for example given two identical applicants from SMC and Butte (lulz) CC just because they know our curriculum better. </p>
<p>Evan - yeah, it really doesn’t matter but it’s good to turn it in early anyways because the UC site gets slow and laggy, sometimes even crashing within hours before the application is due.</p>

It was filled with Staten Island girls/guys, guidos, hoodrats, and druggies lol. </p>
