That’s kinda how my English teacher is. We have to turn in rough drafts of essays and he’ll divide us into groups and the group members read our essays and we take notes on what we need to improve on based on their feedback. It sucks.

oh yeah snooks, I hate that. I try to give my group members really good feedback but I never get anything in return other than, “good essay man.” :/

Long time no talk.
I haven’t really worried about apps yet because I’m too busy looking into opportunities at the transfer school itself hahaha.

Anyone know anything about going Greek at UC?
I DPed from an underground (not school recognized) sorority my first semester of college because of hazing.
I was wondering if it was any different at UC, especially regulated ones under the PHC?
Please share, whether it be good news or bad.

Wow, this thread is crazy! The Fall '10 filing period is a couple of seasons away, and thread is already this long.

I am def. looking into UCLA/UCB/UCSD, but my chances as an OOS CC student are pretty slim (although almost all of my numerical stats are top UC caliber). I didn’t read the whole thread, so I was wondering how the UCs consider CC students that are out of state (and with a lot of financial/legal constraints)? I know that CCCers are given the most priority, but are OOS CCers that much far behind?

na dude the filing period is like 1 month away.

we are all gonna blink and apps are gonna be due.

i’ll probably do mine over thanksgiving break, to be honest.

I’m doing my TAG with UCSB today. I’ll find out my status in late October.

^ Quick question… How do you “do” TAG? I thought it was just checking off a box on the application… lol.

^ thats paperless TAG for UCSB and UCSD. If you want to TAG to Irvine you fill out a form online. If you want to TAG anywhere else your CCC needs to do a tag for you.

With UCSB it’s optional to send a form in. The advantage is they send you a notice that they received it which basically confirms you are in I think. Then you wait until March-April for official acceptance.

I’m SOSOSOSOSOSO tempted to cop this.
I need to stop.

Hi everyone!

It’s been so long! Anyone heading to the College Fair in Temecula?! UC Berkeley is going to be here, I’m so hyped! Even Princeton! O__O;;

I just wanted to say hi and hope everyone is doing well this semester!

P.S.-I can’t believe UCLA changed up their pre-reqs for Psychology. I didn’t have to take Physics since I took Chemistry, grr. Oh well! (:

I’ll be back fully soon!

De anza has the hottest asian females. Like my standards have gone up so much in the past 3 days haahaha. Pretty much you’ll see 8’s like everywhere.

I signed my UCSD/UCSB tags! Wow! I can’t believe it’s almost time!

Unfortunately I couldn’t sign a TAG with UCSB (need more pre-reqs done for the guarantee to College of Engineering, I should still be able to get in normally though). BUUUT I am now TAGged for UCSD and UCSC!

I thought the UCSD TAG was paperless. isn’t it just checking off the TAG option on the UC application?

Yes, sending the form is optional. UCSB and UCSD are both paperless.

bump bump

applications come out tomorrow.

So it begins now…
