Well first of all, here's some quick background info on me. I'm a 19 year old currently attending City Tech as a Civil Engineering major. Ever since I've went there, my grades completely slipped. I have many reasons why I slipped. I mean in high school I was actually doing amazing with around a 3.5 GPA. Now in my sophomore year at this school, I'm at a 1.5 GPA. I've been recently put on academic probation and the policies are that if I don't have a 2.0 GPA or higher this semester, I will be dismissed. I plan to actually do well this semester and try not to repeat past mistakes.

But the thing is that I would like to attend a 4 year college for next semester. The school in particular would be Manhattan College. They work on rolling admission so I could apply any time from now to August. And plus I'd need a 2.0 to transfer.

My questions are:
Do I wait until I boost up my GPA with the classes I have now and then apply?
Do I do well here and then go to a community college for one year?
Do I apply anyways?
