<p>All of my friends are attempting 8 AP classes next year (our senior year...tear), and I figured since I have 5 this year, I might as well try to top myself. I'm just worried about how hard this will be.</p>

Calculus AB
English Lang AP (I took Lit AP this year...don't ask)
MacroEconomics AP
U.S. Government AP
Spanish Literature AP
Psychology II AP

<p>Anyone taken any of these classes before? How hard are they on a scale of 1-10?</p>
<p>Depends on your teachers. Physics at our school has a horrible teacher, and most people fail. The subject itself isn't bad if you're decent with math and you actually know what's going on.</p>
<p>Calc depends on if you're a math person.</p>
<p>AP Euro is a class we take as sophs here, with a great teacher and a decent pass rate.</p>
<p>Honestly, it's not worth asking how "hard" a class is because it varies so much from school to school. How hard the AP exam is, maybe, but not the class.</p>

<p>Actually, a schedule with those classes at my school would leave lots and lots of time for having a life. Maybe you shouldn't go to that-NorCal-school. ;P</p>
<p>How in the world are you able to take 8 classes? My school only allows a max. of 6 periods. Anywho, g'luck with that.</p>
<p>AP classes at my school require about 10-15 hours of after-school work, so with 8, one would expect to spend 80 to 120 hours a week doing homework. lol </p>
<p>But hopefully your teachers will be nice and give you very little homework. Go speak with them first about the work load in each class so you can get an idea of how busy you will be.</p>
<p>Government, Psych , and Euro should be no problem if you buy a review book and look at it over the summer. Then the class should be really easy. Spanish Lit will probably be the harder one.</p>
<p>My classes: Physio, Algeba 2, Spanish 3, English 3, and 3rd year history. </p>
<p>I'll also be taking physio A period so i get out at 11:30 and 12:00. A period-4</p>
<p>But ur probably applying to top notch schools.</p>
