<p>hey so i'm not into the club scene, more into bars and house parties. are house parties as common at UM as they are at most colleges? i feel like UM may be dominated by the club scene and that the party scene is different from most schools, not saying that its a bad thing.</p>

<p>From what I understand, yes, kids go to clubs and such on South Beach, but right in Coral Gables, there is a nice bar scene on Coconut Grove. The frats also throw parties and stuff, so the social scene is diverse enough to fit your needs.</p>
