Nittany Lions Reciprocate Crimson Tide's Hospitality

I’m a Nittany Lion and my senior sons are checking out Alabama (in addition to PSU and others). This article made me feel good about both schools.

:)

there were similar articles a year ago when the PSU fans came to T-town.

I had the pleasure of being at Bama that day and we all have a good time together. :)

Here’s the thread from last year about the PSU vs Bama game and links to the nice articles…

Roll Tide and <3 Joe Pa

Hoping Penn State plays Bama next year at home. Son was a freshman and didn’t have that ticket package, but I hope he gets to experience a Bama/Penn State matchup before he graduates.

Montegut: Unfortunately, Penn State and Alabama are not slated to each other during the regular season in 2012. UA’s non-conference opponents, according to fbschedules.com, include Michigan, Western Kentucky and Florida Atlantic.

It is unlikely that Bama will be playing Penn State anytime soon.

The contracts have been made for the next couple of years.

Also, Nick Saban recently said that “home and home” non-conference games are not profitable enough, so Bama will be contracting more “one time only at B-D” games in the future. These games are very profitable for Bama.

Aw, shucks. Glad to hear that we’ll play FAU, though. Hope that will be a home game, and even better, Family Weekend game. Love their coach!
