so, is there anyone who is expecting to be a NM finalist who hasn't heard anything yet? Are the finalists listed on a website anywhere?

Hey, I'm a finalist (my principal told me) but I didn't recieve anything in the mail yet
I don't think they have a list for finalists online, but supposedly "no news is good news" because they already notified the people who didn't make finalist status in January.

I should be one...but no letter yet.

I had JUST gotten done reading this post when my mom gave me my letter. So I'm a finalist. Woohoo!

I have got nothing. I think I'm the rare case when the recind any standing ;-\ and they just dont' feel like telling me.

My guidance counselor told me that I'm a finalist. I haven't gotten any letter myself, though.

no letter yet =X

nothing yet here

A letter mailed from NJ on the 9th, the date they were supposed to be sent to your home, probably won't reach us until the 12th. My S heard at school the day before yesterday, though.

My son's letter came today. We live in Wisconsin. Is this worthy of an email letting his admissions counselor know that he's a finalist and that her school is his first choice, or do they assume this from his stats and semi-finalist standing?

Nothing here in So. Cal. as of Thursday's mail, and no news from the school either.

my S got the letter today. Do the colleges get the information or do we have to let them know?

I got my letter today in the mail, about 30 mins ago. I live in Los Angeles for reference.

I'm A FINALIST... Just got it today, Friday the 11th in Kentucky

Ugh, it's Friday and still no so unless I get it at home tomorrow, I probably won't find out until at least Monday.

:( waiting sucks

Yeah, it does...:(
I didn't get anything yet either (Maryland)

I'd like to know, as well. I don't think they do, though, so I guess we have to write to them.

Just write them just in case, wouldn't hurt?

Although most colleges realize that 15,000 out of 16,000 semifinalists become finalists.

My son's letter came today. We live in Michigan.

Sigh... not in today's mail either. I wonder if they're being sent out alphabetically by last name. We are near the end of the alpha. S commented that he hopes his counselor remembered to send in the application!

momo

Our last name begins with K.
