My D got the one time award of $2500 to the college of her choice.

Congrats! What were her stats?

Where would you see this? By the way, Congrats!

@disneydebk, My daughter logged into her account. It is at the top.

Congratulations! You have been offered a scholarship. Please complete Step 4 below.

Now there is step 4. Before, there were only three steps , third step being her school address. Step 4 has a pdf of the letter that was mailed home today.

@ROCKFISHDG, her academic stat: 233 PSAT, 2400 (first sitting) SAT, 8 APs - all 5, 4.0 GPA, very selective science award.

Congrats! Great stat.

Congratulations to all of you that received it. I am not surprised that my D would not get it as her EC is rather weak. She is happy with whatever she got already anyway.

Yay! The kid received one, too. SAT 2330 (800/800/80(6), LOL), National AP Scholar 10th grade, 500+ service hours, multi-year independent research project.

Does anyone know for a fact that ALL of the $2500 scholarships have been awarded? Or, are they possibly awarded and posted in waves?

Too bad my account is locked from too many incorrect login attempts…

I’m also wondering about the same thing @woods1234

There is no mention of waves in this document :
http://www.nationalmerit.org/Merit_R&I_Leaflet.pdf
Note that it says “begins” for Corporate Sponsored March 12th and “begins” is missing for $2500 award March 27th

I got it! SAT 2390, 5s on 6 APs, >600 volunteer hours. A good chunk towards Stanford!

Congratulations to all who became National Merit Scholars. Would that be it ? I have heard that they are sending letters in waves until May. My daughter did not get anything yet and no new information is available online.
Would she still be hopeful ?
