Hello all,
So I have just recently been considering going to college on a pre med track to try to go to med school. I have already selected my courses for my senior year, but I can still change them. I took AP Physics this year (as well as APUSH, AP Macro, Pre-AP Lit, and Pre-AP Spanish)
Next year I plan on taking AP Bio, AP World History, AP BC Calc, AP Spanish, AP Lit, Honors Chem II and Honors Philosophy. My question is should I be taking AP chem if this is what I want to do? I originally had planned on taking it but I spoke to seniors in the class this year and have heard that the teacher is terrible and that the honors course teacher prepares you better for any chemistry you may have in college. Any advice/recommendations? Thanks!
You have 5 AP already.
You can take college chemistry later.
It is fine. You will be taking an AP in another science.
Med school graduate and chemistry major here…
Took general chemistry in 10th grade. That’s it. No problem. Do well in college and you will be fine.
thank you, this helped my situation
Thanks everyone! That’s a relief!
