"No CEEB Scores" = ACT? And lower acceptance rate at Brown...

<a href="http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Admission/gettoknowus/factsandfigures.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Admission/gettoknowus/factsandfigures.html</a></p>

Look at the tables at the right.

750-800 has a 25% admission rate, 700-740 has a 16% admission rate, but "No CEEB Scores" (I'm assuming this means ACT only) has only a 7.2% admission rate.

This concerns me, since I plan on submitting only my ACT (33) to Brown, to avoid some bad SAT II's (540,630,670) and not as good SAT scores (750,750,660).

Or does that mean something different??

Gosh I knew brown was tough to get into but if you're not in the top5 percent of your class its not even worth applying...

ED is 27%. Just something to think about...

"No CEEB scores" includes EVERYONE who submitted the ACT, even those who were grossly underqualified.

Don't sweat it. Submit the one that's better.

I know. But the 7.2% is lower than their overall 13.9%.

Do you think that generally speaking more people submit modest ACT scores than submit modest/bad SAT scores?

I think there are much more people applying to that school with the SAT; they both carry the same weight
