<p>I am a junior right now. And I don't have the best sophomore grades (but no C's).
Does that mean my chance at Berkeley is really low? due to UC's only accepting sophomore and junior grades?</p>
<p>If you showed a strong upward trend in GPA and had impressive EC’s/SAT/letters/essays, there’s NO WAY your sophomore grades could weigh you down! And Berkeley looks at first sem senior grades sometimes too.</p>
<p>Same story here. Bad sooh grades. Did awesome essays and huge upward treend + had nice ecs. Got in 
my sat scores were very hi also 2300+</p>
<p>Do remember that Berkeley has a holistic admission system, so anything goes. I’d apply if i were you, because I wouldn’t have known it unless I tried.</p>
<p>When you guys say upward trend do you guys mean only sophomores to junior year?
What about SAT 2’s which one did you guys and and how did u do? Do they take community hours sheet?</p>
