Hey i'm transferring as a 3yrd year to ucla this fall. I'm a sociology major, and I'm trying to look for open classes, and can't find any. I don't really know what to do, seeing that my orientation is this coming up monday. can anyone help me? (my major requirements say taht i need to take allied field courses...and going through the list, they're all filled)...help!! suggestions and wha tnot.

classes will open up when you get to orientation… they closed some classes because they are saving them up for the transfers.

Yes, what I have been reading and hearing quite a bit is that they open up classes again, keeping each orientation session in mind… but I’m actually kind of worried now (have orientation this monday) b/c I saw in another thread that someone who’s also a Soc. major didn’t get any of the classes she wanted, that they didn’t give her a PTE # b/c of her particular major… so it seems like only some majors get that Anyone know anything more on this???

I would also like to know, since I’m a comm. major and I feel like comm. classes are also the type that they might not give out a PTE number for…
