If I didn’t receive a follow up after sending a letter of continued interest to a few schools, does it mean anything? I sent them at the end of last week. If I should have received a response by now, should I follow up and confirm my added info was added to my application?
If you get a response, it means nothing. If you don’t get a response, it means nothing.
Why do you think you should have received a response? Did it say you would if you sent in an indication of continued interest? Is there anything on your portal like checkmarks for received documents or a list of missing documents?
I really doubt if the AO is going to respond to every deferred student who sends in a letter of continuing interest. Some schools defer thousands of applicants.
Your application along with any AO notes and recommendations will be read during this reading cycle. I would not expect any acknowledgement until final decisions are released. I know how hard the waiting game is, best of luck.
Thanks for the responses, seems like everyone agrees it doesn’t matter. On one of my applications it says they normally respond within two days, which is why I was confused.
