So I applied to Clemson in early September and I have yet to hear back. I know that the decisions are in February, but I was curious if anyone knows if I should have heard from early acceptance.

ACT: 30
GPA: 5.1
CLASS RANK: 81 of 580 (Top 15%)

Almost all AP's or Honors, many good EC's. Is there any reason I haven't gotten anything yet?

Also, I have not really gotten many emails from Clemson like most of the other colleges I have applied to. Is this true for anyone else?

you’re not in the top 10% of your high school class - that’s typically a requirement to get an early acceptance letter. Clemson doesn’t really send much stuff out till the admissions decision. That’s how it’s been every year. Good luck in mid-February!

My daughter applied late in October. She has a perfect 4.0 UW, lots of APs, and ACT/SAT high enough for the freshman academic recruiting scholarship criteria, and is ranked in the top 1.2% of her class (top 5 of all students). Haven’t heard anything back yet…

jbinmd, I wouldn’t worry too much about it - I find it hard to believe you wouldn’t get some sort of scholarship with those stats…not really sure why the admissions office hasn’t gotten back to you…

I’m already a student here–I applied at the end of September and got my letter mid-January. I wouldn’t worry too much if anyone hasn’t gotten anything yet and your stats are good. I don’t think I ever got an email from them until after I got accepted.

I got multiple emails from them after I fikled out my application. I sent in my application october 22, and got an email saying I was tigertown bound on November 6 and got the official letter November 8 in the mail.
