I might have just overlooked it (and if I did I'm sorry), but if I'm applying to USC as a transfer to the College of Letter, Arts, and Sciences, is there no essay component?
For that matter is there also no essay for the Common Application itself besides the short answers?

What short answers on the CA? Here is what I see:

Yeah I was a bit surprised to see that there was no supplemental section for marshall as well.

There’s also the supplemental quick takes such as favorite food, fictional character, etc and
with 3500 characters allowed to your response.

So for transfer students we have until feburary 1st to submit out application? Why does it say submit part I in october?

It looks like this school at USC has no essays. Most others seem to require additional work.

I’m pretty disappointed that there isn’t any significant essay component to let us stand out more. I guess this means that decisions will be based just on GPA and extracurriculars?

I don’t understand where you guys are getting this “no essay” component.

There is the generic Why Transfer essay and the Why USC essay which is located in the supplement.

I believe this was when USC used their own system. Part I was optional anyways.
