No Idea...Need Help!

I have a HUGE list of colleges that I am interested in. I know that college visits will help, but I can't possibly visit ALL of these schools, so would you all please give me your opinions on these schools. I am specifically interested in journalism (broadcast), political science, or international relations.

Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, Northwestern, UNC-Chapel Hill, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, American, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, Tufts, UVa, U of Illinois--Urbana-Champaign, Vanderbilt, Emory, Boston University, University of Georgia, Auburn University, New York University, Syracuse, Washinton University in St. Louis!

I know, HUGE, but thanks for any input!

well is there specifics that you want? student body size? possible major? type of location?

whats important to you?

I want to major in communication as well, and I applied to these schools from your list: UNC-Chapel Hill, Cornell, Boston U, U of Georgia, NYU, and WUSTL. So those are always good :-D

Also, note that WUSTL does not have a "communication" program per se -- you can study it, but your major comprises of picking classes from different majors.

Well, I would like a politically conservative but socially liberal school. Not too small, at least 5,000 undergrads, good at journalism and either political science or international relations. If the school doesn't have a journalism major, I'd like them to have a journalism graduate school, and if they don't have that I'd like a student TV station and a newspaper. If the school is smaller (5,000 - 10,000), I'd like it to be in a large city, but if the school is larger (10,000+), a small town would be sufficient, but I would still prefer a large town. I'd also like the school to have good internship opportunities and good placement rates with law schools. Thanks!

GWU is best in communications out of the DC schools.

no journalism: Princeton, Yale, Georgetown, Columbia, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Tufts, UVA,
Communications: Stanford, UNC-CH, Cornell, Vanderbilt
Journalism: Northwestern, American, GW, UIUC, BU, NYU, WashU

I would say that Northwestern would fit you best.

about 7,000 kids, suburb of Chicago, great for journalism.

and U Penn
