<p>Jessica, I’m in the same boat and I’m worried too. From what I’ve heard, interviews are supposed to be the least important part of the Yale application. I’ve heard many people say that you won’t get accepted without an interview, but the Yale website doesn’t agree to this. Sometimes it might be that there isn’t an alumnae interviewer in your area. <p>D1 is in Yale class 2012. She never had an interview. Don’t worry.</p>

<p>I think the deadline is Dec 1 for early applicants, so if you haven’t been contacted you will most likely not get an interview. I was not contacted, and my parents called the admissions office (they are alums, so the admissions officers are particularly friendly/helpful) and they said that my region has so many applicants the the interviewers often do not have enough time to interview everyone, and assured my family that this will not affect the decision process in any way. I guess it is still possible to be contacted though, so I will be waiting</p>

<p>My classmate was contacted about a week ago and turned her application in about 3 days before me. I will still be waiting, but you say it really isn’t a huge deal? I just can’t help but worry.</p>
