No Merit Scholarship?

I currently live in Connecticut, and really want to attend UM. I received my acceptance a few weeks ago, and ever since then I have been waiting for any type of merit scholarship to come, but have not received anything yet. My sister also attends the school, and I have heard that increases your chances for getting more merit based scholarship from the school. Does this mean I didn’t get any scholarship or should i keep waiting?

3.68 weighted cumulative GPA

  • ACT composite score of 32
    -4 on AP Bio Exam
  • 200+ community service hours
  • Varsity Lacrosse for High school
  • Worked 2 jobs through highschool
  • 2 AP Classes: AP Bio, AP Physics

@iani454 I assume you’ve checked CaneLink under the Financial Aid “Accept/Decline Awards” link? My son’s portal also shows a “Merit Scholarship Agreement” under the To Do List. If there isn’t anything there, I would give the FA office a call. FWIW my son’s stats are 3.9 wtd GPA; 1390 new SAT; varsity baseball; 4 APs last year (& 5 this year) & he received $19,000 Presidential scholarship, plus some smaller ones. Good luck!
