no sats required at middlebury?

the website says that you can send in AP scores or SAT IIs (or IBs but i'm not in IB).

would it look better to submit :700 v, 600 m, 720 w OR a 5 in APUSH, 4 in English Comp AP, and a 3 on the Latin AP (vergil) test? i could also submit my SAT IIs (600 in math (boo...), a 740 in literature, and an 800 in US History)

i don't think english and literature are separate
enough to submit both as two different subjects

also, does anyone know more about the February admission program there?

If I were you, i'd get my math SAT II up (to at least 650) and submit the 3 SAT IIs.

What do you want to know about the Feb program?

i wouldnt submit the AP's unless they are all 5s. That said, those SAT IIs are pretty strong. Just raise the math a bit and you'll definitely have a shot

Or take another SAT II in a subject that is stronger for you than Math; any three differerent subjects qualify.

Do you have to send all of one type or can you send a mixture of both, just with different subjects?

If you can mix and match I'd look into sending the 800 and 740 subject tests with the 720 writing section

you can send the SAT I, the ACT, or Mixed and matched SAT IIs, APs, and IBS. The third option used to require that one of the tests be math/sciency and one be geared more towards english. I don't know if that's changed though.

i emailed and my response was that English Comp AP and the Lit SAT II are considered that same subject. they would like (but do not require) me to submit a quantitative test (math or science). i think i'm going to try the Bio SAT II

i was just curious as to whether is was worth it to wait until feb. to start college.
