No Subject Tests For Arts and Scienes

Does anyone know of anyone getting accepted into Arts and Sciences without the required SAT IIs?

Before someones says something, I couldn’t take them because of an enormous amount of complications after a natural disaster. I contacted admissions and they said my application would still “be given full consideration” and they also advised me to upload a letter explaining my circumstances, which I did.

I’m not complaining. It was a super unfortunate event, but it happened.

I already applied, but obviously have 2 months of waiting ahead of me, so out of curiosity, I just wanted to see if anyone got in without them or knows someone who got in without them.

SPECIFICALLY Arts and Sciences OR any of the other schools within Cornell that REQUIRE them because I know there are some that don’t

If Cornell says your application will be given full consideration, you just have to trust it’ll be given full consideration. I don’t think you’ll find anyone on here who also had unusual circumstances surrounding taking subject tests for CAS, so you’ll probably just have to believe they’re telling the truth and wait, which I know sucks!
