Chance me for Ohio State, Penn State, UT Austin, Tulane, & College of Charleston? I promise I'll chance back.
Also if you want, others I'm considering are UGA, U Miami, U Pitt, Boston U & Northeastern.

GPA- weighted: 4.11, unweighted: 3.56
SAT-1860: Math-630, Reading-610, Writing-620 (I'm retaking it and my goal is 1950)
EC's- Youth & Government for 1 year, YMCA leader's club member for two years, leadership position in school's Green Team (not president), participation in Class Council. 150+ service hours.
Rank-30th percentile (I go to a competitive school)
AP World-4
AP Comparative Government-4
Pretty strong senior schedule. (2 APs, 4 honors)

I'm a white female and I go to a very competitive public school (which is why my class rank is so terrible), I'm not applying to anywhere in state, but I also do not need any financial aid if that is a factor.

I rarely reply to chance threads, but your title caught my eye. I know nearly nothing about most of your schools, but I think UT an PSU would be pretty tough for an OOS applicant with a 30% rank.

For Pitt, you’re just below the mean SAT for Pitt, but easily in the middle 50%. I’m not sure how they look at weighted GPAs, but your class rank would be in the bottom 14% there…but they look at GPA and strength of the curriculum more than anything. Being out of state is actually a plus for Pitt, especially if you are from an area of the country that is underrepresented at their campus. You’d probably get in, but likely wouldn’t get any academic awards unless your scores come up, but that also might depend on where you are from some.

I think you would probably get into most of those schools except for UT Austin which is notorious for being “harder than Harvard” for out of staters and those who are in state and not the the top 8% ):
You’ve got decent scores and good ec’s for the colleges you’re applying to, so no worries (:
but maybe boost your APs a little? Do some self-studying and take some more exams. It would be really impressive, I think…
