non-matriculated application

Hey guys. Applied for fall 2009 here. I know that my app for fall is a huge stretch and i check the status page daily but still says in process. Pretty sure i won't get in though. I started reading about the non-matriculated visiting student... can i change my application to that or can i wait till i see im denied and then apply again thru that? Can you even do a non-matric app after you apply for a normal program? Is it easier to get 'in' this way? I planning on getting good grades for my current spring 09 semester plus my summer grades plus my possibly fall grades at rutgers, i would definitely be able to get in for the spring or following fall as a full student.

i found this
[Already Graduated? Thinking about Returning to Rutgers? - SAS Office of Academic Services](http://sasundergrad.rutgers.edu/academics/current/nontraditional/alreadygraduated.html)

says the classes wouldn’t count towards my gpa though "While non-matriculated courses will appear on the Rutgers transcript, they are not computed into the GPA or included in the credit total. "

what do they mean included in the credit total? i could not finish any specific classes/graduation requirements nor would it count towards my 120ish graduation requirement?

rob, what makes you think you can’t get in? I’m still waiting too

well just low gpa at my previous school, havn’t heard yet so i’m assuming thats not good. Either way if i can apply thru this esp after i don’t get accepted, that would be great
