<p>I got a Tanner Dean letter.
I'm a minority but not UR (Asian female).</p>
<p>I got one... The letter said about 50 were sent out.</p>
<p>I got one NOT URM</p>
<p>Just wondering, for those of you who also received this letter; was Cornell always among your top-choices and/or does this affect your consideration of attending there?</p>
<p>Also, is there anything that we're supposed to do, besides wait for more information?</p>
<p>Also, for those who rec'ed this letter regarding the scholarship, can you post at least your SAT (I and II) and GPA stats? Congratulations!!!!</p>
<p>the letter says that "Tanner Dean's Scholars are a small but distinguished group of about fifty students in each class".. but considering that some people might choose not to go to cornell, i'm guessing that they send it out to more than 50 students.. although not sure how many.</p>
