I received this email about applying for the Norman Topping Scholarship Fund and I had a few questions.
How did they choose me to apply?
How many receive it?
How did everyone else do their autobiography? How long was it?
Anything else I should know?

I heard that only come people received the email. I read that you should be a first generation college student and live in the USC area to be eligible, however its not limited to that population. May I ask if you live near USC? I’m just wondering because I am also a first generation student, but I didn’t receive an email about the scholarship even though I applied for the scholarship deadline.

I don’t live near USC (I live in Washington) and I got that email a few weeks ago because I am a first generation. I am going to start working on it next week

I started on my app the other day, even though they didn’t send me the enail. lol I am first gen but since I applied to USC through questbridge, they don’t have my email matched to my name like the other regular applicants. (If that makes sense lol)

I just sent an email to the USC financial aid office about the scholarship and whether I should still apply even though I am a questbridge finalist and do not live in the USC area.

I know that students no living in the USC area can still apply but the website says that students who do receive primary consideration :/
