Does anyone out there know what the acceptance rate is for Northeastern School of Nursing between Early Action and Early Admission.?
Hi, I’m going to assume you meant ‘Early action and regular admission’
Im not that well versed on Northeastern’s policies, but from my research I think that if your stats are competitive then you have a much higher chance of getting in EA.
Atually northeastern has an early decision which is binding and an early action which is not binding. So I wondered what the statistical difference of acceptance between the binding ED and the nonbinding EA was. Does anyone know this answer. I know what the acceptance rate is between regular decision and early decision. It’s the acceptance rate of early action that I can’t find info on .
But thank you so much Martinac for your quick reply maybe you could help me with the second part of the question
I called them to ask this question and they said they don’t provide that statistic.
Oh darn. My daughter had a feeling that would be the answer. Thanks so much
Ah sorry, for some reason I did not equate early admission with early decision. Its rumored that ED helps your chances a smidge bit but its hard to be sure.
From what I have heard, admission rates are similar across every section (ED, EA, RD). However, the stats for each section are not released - it’s possible that the ED pool has lower stats than RD, the EA pool higher than RD, etc.
thanks everyone! we went early action. Fingers crossed
Northeastern doesn’t release any broken stats by major, college, or EA/ED/RD, and claims that admissions likelihood is the same across all of these. Whether or not this is actually the case, it’s probably in their interest to keep those numbers internal to avoid people trying to “game” the system to give themselves an advantage.
