@LexDad I think FatherMc is just confident about their essays. I would say my essays I submitted were very good, but obviously that’s subjective.

@Archite: that makes sense. I would suspect that all the essays submitted by anyone would be very good by their own standard or they wouldn’t have hit the ‘send’ button :)

So basically the rest of the RDs are going to find out tomorrow? I’m slowly freaking out here

I called admission office about tomorrow. The answer was no.

That’s crazy. How can it not be tomorrow?!?!? When are they releasing decisions then?

are you freaking kidding me? We have to wait another week while the scholarship/honors kids heard back weeks ago!

@bananers, Why don’t you call them?

It seems like they’re done deciding, so it’s weird to me that it’s taking so long. I’d also prefer to hear back from only one school on the 28th…

I won’t believe I need to wait another week until I see it tomorrow

Just saw that I had an email from northeastern. But it was a newsletter

Aren’t admissions officer’s supposed to say “no, we don’t know, before April 1st.”?

If they are releasing decisions tomorrow, they’re not going to release that information over the phone. Then everybody would be checking the portal all day and it would overload the system (and you can’t release decisions if the system crashes). Have some patience and decisions will come when they come. Until then, it’s out of our hands. Good luck everyone!

While many of us wait, thought you may find this interesting…sigh…

I wonder if the GPA in that article is actual GPA or their recalculated GPA

The gpa on their page is a recalculated gpa on a 5.0 scale. It takes AP and honors into account.

@millertime95, Other colleges do.

@riresident Yes other colleges do. However, it’s still a risky move.

I won’t spend $60,000 a year if NU system can’t handle 40,000 status check within an hour.

^ Hear, hear.

yeah!!! anything for maryland???
