Although they fumbled the delivery, they did release decisions in the time frame they originally gave.
Can you transfer from Oakland to Boston? My D is in the same boat. We live in CT.
Accepted to Boston campus (from NY)!!! Very excited! There seems to be a merit award as well but I canât open it currently due to a required Microsoft login
So was no one outright rejected? Thatâs honestly so counter productive
yeah, I checked.
Does it say all 4 years in London?
Yeah, with the registrarâs office.
What is her intended major? If the major is offered in Oakland, she may want to learn more before giving up on this option. Oakland would be a different experience from Boston, but the campus is beautiful and they seem to be rapidly ramping up the program offerings.
Itâs possible some people did, I guess we wonât know for sure until this sample size is large enough to make that assumption
Did all of the deferred applicants notice that theyâd like to indicate whether you want to be considered in the ED2 round? All part of the yield strategy.
Can you transfer from CA to Boston before you even start? Or after the first year?
Deferred (WA)
Some students reporting rejections on reddit.
Deferred.
Our student deferred. Only reason I can think of why he is deferred would be yield management and that they thought he might not go there even if accepted. Just defeats the purpose of EA. Unregulated industry with no clear rules means they can do whatever a college desires with nary a concern for students. Now they asked whether RD or ED2. Selected RD.
i think you can transfer before you attend your first semester, but iâm figuring that out right now.
Can you point to source please?
Kids I know who were admitted to Oakland had to complete a semester there before coming to Boston. They did not have an option to transfer right away.
Congrats! I also just got into the Boston campus!! Try opening the merit award on your phone. That worked for me
same here!!!
If NEU allowed that, they wouldnât offer admission to other campuses in lieu of Boston.
