I sent them one more e-mail over the weekend and all I was able to get was that those who have yet to hear will be hearing “quite soon”. Hopefully that’s this week.

Denied today. Just received the email. Good luck to everyone else! :D

Denied…Was hoping to attend. Good luck to all that are left!

Rejected. Goodluck everyone!

Just got my rejection email. Good luck to all!

Denied… One of the worst day in my lifetime… I cannot tell this sadnees in words, but I hope that I have enough tears to cry all day long.

Damn, sorry everyone. That just sucks.

If you don’t mind me asking, what time did the e-mails come out?

Denied too…
Got the email exactly at 2:07 PM, if that helps

Sorry about that Taroon, and thanks for letting me know. I was just curious if they were sending them out tonight or they had sent them earlier in the day.

Denied, not really sure why. 4.0 high school, 4.0 college (both while taking extremely difficult classes), helped found a new fraternity at my college, worked in surgery for two different doctors. Really disappointed, it almost feels like my application wasn’t thoroughly considered

Has anyone heard any good news today? =( it makes me so nervous…

I think that very few people will hear good news from here on out. Nobody should get his hopes up.

I believe my last day to accept Northwestern’s offer is tomorrow. I am a little sad because I would have liked to go there.

I would like to confirm one more time before the opportunity is lost forever: if I am Canadian, I will not get a penny of help in any form, be it scholarships or financial aid, and my tuition will be $65,000 with no exceptions. Is this correct?

According to 2011-12 common data set, only 34 nonresident aliens received FA (average of $37,504).

And that’s for freshmen, right?

^For the undergrads, not just freshmen.

Was accepted yesterday to SESP…they’re still sending out a few acceptances

@ Muaythai - you should call them up and find out what exactly the deal is with aid for internationals. Guessing it’s like 15k/yr difference between NW & UNC…could you get a part time job or work study?

I need to go to work in 10 minutes, so it looks like it’s over yolocho. Someone will likely get the spot here today or tomorrow :)

I will just work really hard at UNC and aim for Harvard’s econ grad program.

yeah…you never know, short of the big H maybe you’ll end up in Chicago one day…NW & U-Chicago have to be up there for Econ I would think…good luck in Chapel Hill
