@Gradmom1 ???
Hey guys…just a quick question here: Is it too late to send a LOCI?
NU is my first choice lol
I have the same question as @yjliu
LOCI is only for deferred applicants right?
I’m RD but I sent one because I wasn’t offered an interview
I would say yes. On the deferral letter, it says to submit additional information (which I assume includes LOCIs) by the end of January. They’ve probably already made decisions on a lot of applicants, so unless you have something really compelling to update them on, I would probably say it’s too late. A quick “Northwesten is still my first choice” probably wouldn’t hurt though.
Hey, could you do this computer detective work for the RD date? Would appreciate it
@forbros1207 THere’s nothing of the sort needed. The rate is between 6-9% for RD apps. I have no clue of the deferred ones though, but they either have the same rate, or a lesser one (mainly due to the adcom reading the app again, and finding no new perspective/improvement through the months in most cases).
Are there any specific predictions on when they may release RD decisions? Somewhere in the 3/15-22 window, right? but anything more specific? Any insights are appreciated.
@collegemom111111 I think the window is correct. But check on when the class of '22 decisions were released. I think thats a good day for expecting RD dec’s.
IMO it may be near 3/22. Not so much near 3/15.
I live in-state. Never received a request to interview. Does this mean anything?
According to what I’ve heard no/1 interview if the app lives in the states doesnt mean much at best. THe reason they give you for not having one is valid.
Otherwise, mostly not, but its interesting to think if the dynamics of interviews about the world affect USA the same way. (Selecting apps who have a chance and giving them an interview offer)
Mostly, its the former, so calm down.
If youre desperate enough, explain your case and eagerness to the adcom/intercom for an interview.
Did anyone else’s SAT/ACT score disappear from the portal?
yep!^
I had a SAT1 score added, even though I never took it. I emailed them regarding it, and they took it off. THis was mid-feb
Oh yeah. My standardized test scores which were shown below (self reported and official) are gone.
Dont worry guys. I mean they obviously have them. We’ll get dec.s regardless.
self-reported SAT/ACT scores are still on the portal. Is it a bad sign?
Mine are gone ?
