Nothing either.
first few waves were already out by this time last year… uguu
i am so impatient i havent heard back from any of my schools yet ughhhh
I’ve heard back from a few, but only safeties and a match (Michigan, which is amazing for CS but I’m not too keen on attending another large public school) so I still have no clue where I stand in regards to ultra selective schools… I’ll just feel so dumb if there’s such a buildup just to get rejected by every reach lol
@CHVRCHES Michigan is great!
@nickvader7 Definitely; I’m only worried about the size being a poor fit for me, especially since I don’t learn too well in huge lectures. Six more decisions to go though!
any idea if we hear today?
Not sure but probably we will hear it by this Wednesday, I hope.
I feel like they will probably stick to their Wednesday schedule but I’m not sure
Anyone get anything today?
nope, nothing.
however I did email the admissions office regarding rumors from this thread about decisions coming out as late as mid-June (i phrased it as “i heard from a friend…”) and they said roughly “Your friend is wrong. They didn’t get that information from us or from anybody with any insight in to our transfer process… Students may hear from us at any time between mid-April and mid May.” Hahahah oops
I actually just emailed yesterday and they also responded w/ mid-June. This is exactly what they said: “Transfer admission decisions are released on a rolling basis as they are made. Students may hear from us at any time between now and mid June. Unfortunately, we are unable to predict when in that window an individual’s decision will be released, as applications are not reviewed in the order they were received, nor is there a standard length of review.”
someone send them the receipts ?because someone in that admissions office be clowning on us
Seems like the people in the admissions office aren’t on the same page lol.
on last year’s thread some people didn’t get their responses till mid-june.
I have the receipts, I got the same email as @hydronugget123. Just let me know if you want to look at them.
I think they meant that the decisions will be released before mid-May, but because some people will be waitlisted, they would be receiving their final decisions by mid-June.
I am frustrated because I submitted my application in January with the hope that they would evaluate my decision earlier. Now that I know that they don’t evaluate applications based on the date submitted, I worry that I will not find out soon enough. I signed a housing contract for next year at my current university, and if I don’t cancel it by May 1, I have to pay the entire amount.
Are we gonna receive an email when the decision’s out?
I thought we would receive a guaranteed decision by May 15th?
