@luckybaby One person got a decision yesterday 5 pm. Not sure if they will release today as well.
@inordie unless i get into NW or Rice i’ll be at Vandy as well!
@inordie have they ever released on a Friday?
@brownstone89 No, but after Vandy releasing on tuesday, I don’t believe the consistency of rolling admission anymore lol
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share with you all that I spoke with NU admissions counselors in person twice when I tagged along with my little brother at two different college fairs. They both said that transfers would hear back on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, but it looks like we’re hearing back on Wednesday’s from what I’ve been reading on this thread!!
Lol so weird… Who knows
So…no one today?
nope
:,(
sad face
Maybe next Wednesday…!?
Is anyone else going to accept at another school (in my case Vandy) and then possibly back out inform then and then sign onto another school pending acceptance?
Anyone else notice a thing where only the NU portal hangs/the page keeps loading even after the nothingness is shown; it’s not happening with any of my other app portals, so I’m trying everything to find a sign at some activity xD
@Whitefang1313 What do you mean?
How cold is Evanston? I’m in California, I am still thinking nu and ucla.
LOL… It’s COLD here in the Midwest. Especially by the lake. Like VERY cold. I’ve lived in Milwaukee all my life (north of Chicago in Wisconsin) and I still hardly feel like I can handle the winters here sometimes. Sometimes, with wind chill, it can get to -40 F
It was sort of a mild winter this year though (thanks global warming)
If u were my situation, what would u recommend? I really like NU school and my major, but I don’t think I can handle the weather. UCLA is a good school, too.
Whatever would make you happier. The campuses have pretty different cultures and they’re both great schools. Only you can answer that question tbh
I mean, I’m still waiting for a lot of schools, and I’m sure others are too. But I have to inform at Vanderbilt before May second. So I was just wondering if anyone knew what the procedure was. So if I get into my top choice, say Penn but only hear from penn after, do I deposit and then just withdraw? I don’t want to risk losing out on Vanderbilt if it’s the best school I get into!
