This has been DD’s approach. She’s already submitted applications to 10 schools, and plans to finish the final 2 this weekend. Worst case, she’s wasted some time and money (tho several schools offered no ap fee to entice her to apply). Best case, she lands at an awesome school (hopefully NU)!

GOOD LUCK everyone – and I hope the e-mails start flying this afternoon!

Hi everyone, I’m an NU alum and parent of an S who is applying ED to WCAS. Good luck to all of you! (Especially my son! LOL.) Can’t wait to hear when the first of you start hearing!

haha, same here, Destroyer. I had an essay due yesterday that was sub-par at best, but I have a 98 in that class, so I don’t think it’ll matter.

i just joined college confidential so i could get in on this website!! i love the countdown…thanks! it will now be on my desktop until we get our decision! GOOD LUCK TO ALL

One of the kids on this thread was told by their counselor that it would be today. If you think about it, it does make sense for them to do it today after hours. Then they won’t get a ton of phone calls from upset people who didn’t get in. They would have the weekend to cool off and realize it would do no good to call and protest. Of course, the official release date is still the 15th, but we’re all keeping our fingers crossed for today!

I just called and she said very harshly that they don’t give out specific dates of when they’ll let us know. I couldn’t get any info out of her. Hopefully sooner rather than later…

I have checked my email from my phone at least 30 times today, I’m running up my internet on my phone bill. Why can’t they just be out already??? Please Admissions Office hurry up!!! NOW!
