@johonmilla if Northwestern is your first choice, maybe you can email them and request for an early reading! 
If you check out the Georgetown 2018 transfer thread there were a couple people who requested this from Georgetown’s admissions office. They said that they did not want to keep spots at other universities from other people because they were waiting for their Georgetown decision.

I was accepted as an incoming sophomore to McCormick.
School: Top public school (e.g. Michigan, UVA, IUIC, etc.)
College GPA: 4.0
High School Unweighted GPA: 4.0
ACT: 34
SAT Math 2 and Chemistry: 800 800
Work Experience/internships/research: None
Extracurriculars: Religious organization and chemical engineering related clubs.
Recs: Was not close to the professors at all, but I got really good grades in the class. Interpret that how you please.

According to last year’s thread, it seems like the bulk of people got their decisions 5/11, so maybe a lot of us will hear back this week
So, are we looking at Wednesday or Thursday?

Does the Northwestern transfer admission office contact the high school counsellors after getting the high school transcripts?
no lmao if they did that they’d never get done reviewing apps. transcript is just to verify you went
So are we thinking the majority of people will hear back tomorrow or Thursday? Rolling admissions is great…until it’s mid-May and you still don’t have a decision
