rejected from SoC for theatre major at 6:15 pm earlier today. totally expected it, good luck to everyone still waiting!
At this point I’m not even sure if it’s good news that I’m still waiting… Any thoughts?

I feel like if it was a definite rejection they would have already sent me the decision? Maybe they are having a hard time deciding ours?

Still have not heard back from college of arts and sciences… The suspense is awful.
The last few acceptances and rejections have been on a wenesday. I was thinking there would be some tonight, but I guess not
Since NU gives 3 weeks to reply to their offer, the reply date for those who were accepted on 5/2 would be today (perhaps midnight)? Hence I think it is reasonable to expect a wave tomorrow.
@s014131 Yeah, and so far I was admitted to Boston College! I’m still waiting to hear back from Georgetown and Tufts as well What about you?

@avocadough Congrats on BC! I think it would be an amazing school to attend even if others don’t work out. I got into UCSD, UC Berkeley, and UCLA as of now. I’m trying to avoid the UC’s as much as possible, though. NU is the last school I’m waiting for and it’s my #1 choice Did you or anyone else on this thread hear back today? No news for me yet…

@otsihpem , I understand the sentiment, but you do realize by not withdrawing your application, if you do get accepted this late in the process, that just means your spot will go empty. If you are not going to go, please withdraw your applicaition to the benefit of one of us who not only would attend, but very much want to
@otsihpem you paid your application fee, so you have all the rights to get to know your decision. It would be nice for you to withdraw (for some of us that are still waiting), but that’s definitely not a responsibility. Also, we’re not even sure if someone withdrawing an application means 1 more spot opening up for another; it’s just a possibility.
Do you mind sharing which school you got into/plan to attend? Just curious
I plan on declining all my UC offers asap if I get admitted to NU, so if someone’s on the waitlist (or appealing) for any of those schools, hope that helps! God I want to go to NU so badly :’(
