i got accepted to NU school of communication, hopefully to major in theatre.. i really want to do theatre, but i'd like to minor in history/int relations as well.. i also got accepted to upenn college.. and i really dont know where i should go! upenn is better ranked, but NU is still a top school, and as an international, NU is kind of far for me, id rather stay on the east coast.. still, im leaning towards NU.. can anyone tell me ANYTHING about either school(i havent been to either one), or anything u know about the theater program at penn, or NU.. anything realli, to help me make a choice.. thnxxx

NU's theatre program is regarded as one of the best in the country. Quite a few NU's alums had won Tony awards. I don't know much about UPenn's. I just don't hear people talking much about its theatre program; so I suspect it's probably not as strong as NU's.

There are five departments within the School of Communication: Communication Studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Performance Studies, Radio/Television/Film, and Theatre. Each of the four other departments offers a distinctive perspective on the process of human communication, and therefore provides course options of profound relevance to the theatre student.
