Not going to a college after paying enrollment deposit?

<p>If I pay the enrollment fee and decide to hold off, let's say 4 years, is my acceptance status still valid? Or does it go away?</p>

<p>You would need to contact the admission office to defer your enrollment and they would have to approve it, otherwise you would need to apply again. It’s very doubtful they would hold a spot for you for 4 years.</p>

<p>At most you could possibly get a deferment for 1 year. 4 years is likely not going to happen.</p>
