<p>I heard that many of you guys who submitted the application in September have been accepted so I thought this whole process wouldn't take longer than 2 months.</p>
<p>My application was complete around Nov 7th and now my status still says: Your application and high school transcript have been received. Please continue to check your status.</p>
<p>This status has remained for 2 weeks so I emailed the admission office to see when my application can be reviewed. I got their email saying: We have not started reviewing for fall 2014 yet. Please check your status in January thru April.</p>
<p>Is this supposed to be right? Not until January? I wonder if any of you guys' application was completed around the same time as mine and how does your status say?</p>
<p>very strong candidates tend to hear sooner, but that isn’t an absolute. we say this on CC all the time — it well may be January or February before you hear, but the length of the wait doesn’t mean you are doomed. try to be patient, and try to not freak out. and good luck!</p>
<p>Im not expecting to be accepeted this soon but im expecting my application STARTED to be reviewed soon cuz I think the email says they havent even started. This is pretty weird.
Plus, my stats are not the strongest but still enough for Penn State, at least I believe My SAT is 2180 with UW gpa 3.63</p>
<p>well, you can expect whatever you like…but thousands of students applied in early september and october. Your paperwork has been there for a little over 2 weeks, and they are polite enough to tell you that it is complete and accounted for. Actual human beings have to do the work, and it only goes so fast. And, fall break,begins Saturday so nothing will happen next week either. first world problem :)</p>
<p>My application was complete Sept. 9th and I received my admission decision on November 5th for Fall '14. (and in response to greenbutton, my credentials weren’t “excellent”)</p>
<p>I’m not sure when your status should be changing, but it should take a bit to hear back since you applied later. To be honest, you seem okay based on your credentials (especially your SAT score). Best of luck, I’m sure you’ll get in! Just be patient :)</p>
<p>I have submitted my app on October 24th and all the materials were turned in the same day as well. My status shows the same as yours. Even mine hasn’t gone under review.? Wierd. Because many who applied after me got accepted with lower scores</p>
