I currently have a 3.72 gpa at a CA CC, but I'm taking a summer math class where I'll probably get anywhere from a C to a B. So my gpa will be anywhere from a 3.61 to a 3.68 at the end of summer. However, I only need this math class to apply for UCLA or UCB. I feel that if I take continue with it, the drop in my GPA will essentially eliminate me from getting in to biz econ for LA and business for berkeley. Or I can drop with a W bump up my gpa to a 3.74 after this summer (taking another class this summer), but since this is the first calculus class in the math sequence, I probably would not be admitted to ucb or ucla anyway since I would be retaking this class in the fall. So I guess my question is continue, lower my gpa, but be on track to finish the calc classes for these two schools, or drop with a W and maintain a higher gpa for schools where I only need business calculus (which I already took).
