I'm Chinese and I recently discovered that the name on all my legal info (birth certificate, etc) , is actually two words instead of one. For example, the name on all my school info, transcripts, collegeboard testing info, etc, are all, say, Joseph. But my legal name is Jo Seph. I didn't realize this until I got my driver's licence recently. Will this be a problem? Because I know commonapp asks for the name that appears on all your legal documents, which would be Jo Seph, but all of my other records say Joseph. Should I keep it Joseph for consistency's sake?

My highschool diploma I think will say Jo Seph though, should I get them to keep it Joseph?
