When filling out my application years ago (no but really, 4 months ago) I checked that I wouldn't want my decision to be available online. Wow, how dumb I was, more waiting. Did anyone else make this mistake?

i think you can definitely change it by calling/emailing the admission office.

no, just log on to the application status site using your ID number and last name, and i'm pretty sure you can change it on there with no communication.

i'm not viewing my decision online either. i want the whole movie moment of opening my mail box and receiving either the big envelope or the small one.

agreed with adidas20nike.

Ya, thats what I thought when I applied, but now I just want to know.

I thought the same thing, and I absolutely agree.

The acceptance and rejection letters all come in a thin envelope. You won't know until you open it. :D

thanks for letting me know. at least i know now that getting a thin envelope isn't the end of the world. haha.

From which website do we see the status?

They do it by e-mail, if I recall correctly.

I totally love the movie moment! I selected not to hear by email either. =)

To Trixee 15, for the class of 2011, the envelopes (for admits) were large, and full of forms to fill out. So plenty of drama when opening the mailbox!

wait, what is the acceptance envelope like then? big or small?

The acceptance letter for 2007 were large 9 x 12 or 10 x 14", cream color with crimson return address, with multiple forms and a certificate of admission (suitable for framing by your proud parents).

Thats interesting. I was told it would be in a thin envelope. They probably changed it, my bad then.

In that case...there will be a movie moment!

When were you told it was a thin envelope (maybe they changed it from 07)? And was it for RD, or transfer?

Well the Dean told me a long time ago (in 2006), and I read it in an article. It was for both. I'm assuming it's the same for Transfers and RD's right?

Odd... I seem to remember they said thin envelopes were used for everyone for SCEA, when they that option used to exist. All I know is that a student received their decision online last year, then received a large envelope. Maybe if you don't ask for an online answer, they use a smaller envelope??? Strange!!

That might be it! Maybe if you don't request the e-mail notification they send you the online version on paper...and then everything else afterwards. Who knows? I would like to think they all come in a thin envelope.
