Nothing today=rejected/waitlisted?

Me neither, also in MD

@pemberley, yes someone in MA did get in. Acceptances are supposed to arrive in mailboxes by Saturday so we got rejected/waitlisted YAYYYYYYYYY… not :/

yeah that was like one person…i feel like it takes priority mail awhile to get to ma. I called the post office (i know…obsessive) and they said minimum 3 days. not many people in my school applied so I honestly don’t know if everyone in ma who got in got their letter. also speak for yourself…

Where is everyone hearing this ‘by saturday’ crap? The blog DOES say that most parts of the country should receive admission information by Saturday (notice: nothing about what that info will be). If anyone has a link to the ‘you’ll hear of your acceptance by Saturday’ page, post it. Until then, I’m just assuming that I’ve been rejected for other reasons, lol.

Waitlisted today in SoCal…

Got my acceptance in MD. The priority mail package came all crushed and torn…lol

Don’t lose hope guys!

Nothing today in NJ but someone from my school got in, pretty sure I must have gotten waitlisted or rejected.

No news here in NJ either…does this mean it’s a definite no?

Okay, so I’m in NorCal, almost as far, domestically, as possible from Vanderbilt but I got my decision today, which was a being offered the Waitlist. The envelope is Standard “Presorted First Class” and the envelope is dated the 24th.

GETTING NOTHING TODAY SHOWS LITTLE TO NOTHING ABOUT YOUR RESULTS.

Of course, you can deny this, but really, the Priority mail vrs. First Class mail seems like a bunch of hogwash to me.

Good luck and congrats to those accepted!

P.s. My stats will be in the RD thread.

Love this! Congrats!

Just to keep the hope…straight from the admissions blog.

"We mail all of our notification letters on the exact same day at the exact same time via USPS. There were conspiracy theories in our earlier rounds about how perhaps we send admits first or we trickle letters out by school or by geography… nope, everything goes at the same moment.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, we plan to mail on March 23rd in the afternoon. Most areas of the country will receive information by Saturday of that week, but we know it takes longer in some regions. International students will receive an email notifying you of your status on Friday, March 25th."

I’m in NorCal also, but didn’t get anything in the mail today.

I’m in Chicago and haven’t gotten anything. Not too worried, though.

Still haven’t gotten anything in west TN. Seeing as I’m so close to Nashville, I thought I’d have at least gotten a waitlist or rejection letter by now, but I don’t even have that. So whatever. I’m also still waiting on mail from a couple other universities that was sent as long ago as last Saturday. The mail just kinda sucks where I live, I guess.

Good luck, everyone. Keep your fingers, toes, eyes, arms, legs, t’s, and whatever else crossed!

Son got waitlisted today in NorCal.

Nothing yet here in northern Ohio. As one poster indicated the postmark of the 24th, it supports my thinking that not all of the mailings actually got into the mail stream on the 23rd when they were delivered to the PO in Nashville. Now we will wait until Monday’s mail delivery.

I got waitlisted from Vanderbilt today. Saturday, I guess is kind of priority mail.

didn’t get mail. (no junk mail either, but neighbors had stuff in their mailbox). woohoo, here comes rejection -_-

Can we safely assume now that those of us who still haven’t received anything will be getting waitlist/rejection letters? Or is there still a small chance of some people receiving acceptance packages? I doubt it… :(

I was a little unnerved too. Obviously, it’s just a coincidence, but it was weird to see my SAT CR+M (1440), as part of the 25th-75th percentile, and the national board thing listed. I do some work in conjunction with what’s arguably the most important education non-profit in the nation, but I just learned recently that my counselor erroneously implied that I was a member of its board of directors in her recommendation. <_<
