Looks like we are mixing up our hypotheses on notification dates; there are those who have not yet been admitted and are looking for their decision, and there are those who have already been admitted but are looking for scholarship awards.

If I recall from reading last year’s threads, the admit letters were mailed the Tuesday after spring break ended (which would be equivalent to today) and the scholarship decisions were mailed several days later.

Not sure what that means for this year…if anything!

What about in 2010 or years before that?
Maybe 2011 was an irregular year? Probably not, just thinking of more possibilities because this wait is crazy!

In previous years there have been “waves” of acceptances starting in early March. That is not the way USC is handling it this year. Hang on - it will all be known soon!

As squiggles1118 noted, in 2010 and prior years there were waves of acceptance notifications beginning in early March. We would have heard something on CC by now if that had happened this year.

The only thing to do is to sit back and wait to hear from the students located in Southern California who generally receive their admissions letters first.

Good luck to all who are waiting!

Anyone know anything about the date for transfer applicants?

The website shows this date information. Is this new?
Freshman Applicants: All admission decisions will be sent by postal mail on March 27. Decisions will be available by phone beginning April 3.
Transfer Applicants: You will receive admission decisions or a request for more information, such as spring-term grades, by June 1.

I thought I had seen the 28th on the USC website a while ago. This is a bit better. Thanks.

Ugh, another whole week :(
