Nov. '09 - SAT Math Level 2

SORRY FOR REPOST, but I really need to know…

For the polar coordinate one that goes r = cos (theta)…

The answer is (.5, pi/3), RIGHT???

My friend is pretty much having a screaming argument with me about how the answer should be (1, pi)… except that makes NO SENSE, yet EVERYONE on facebook seems to be agreeing with him…

Except I asked my dad with a PhD in Math, and he agrees with me.

momwow- yessss it was (.5, pi/3)!!!

your friend is wrong!!!

"Let a SQUARE b= a(a+b) -

What values are x=y?

Was it 1-y and 1+y??"

I put y, -y

Any other opinions?

yes it was y, -y

phew lol

Omitted 3
So far, missed 0

y & -y

(.5,pi/3)

m(p-60t)

104

I am sure of these. Is anyone sure of the question with y=x^2 +k?

Can someone prove than the triangle question was 0?

What answer choice was x(m-60t)?

@doctor

k <= 0

@suthar - that is the answer choice
the question was about how fast something was - one of was measured in minutes and one was measured in hours I believe

4 wrong 2 omits :// what am i looking at?

I know. What letter choice was it?

I believe D (or maybe C) but Im not really sure

@college
that’s a 42 raw score
most likely 780 or 790

Ok, but WHY was it less than or equal to zero, rather than just being less than zero?

because when it’s at 0, it does intersect the x-axis (at the point 0, 0)

6 omits, 8-10 wrong= what score?

dw i got that too!
haha i feel so much better seeing other people get the same answers

Guys … whats the one with 6n + or - 1 = prime? or something like that…

answer choices were
2
3
7
11
12

It was 11. 11*6=66. 66+1=67->Prime, 66-1=65->Not prime.

66-1=65, which is not prime.

yep got 11 too for that one
